The first edition of the sci-fi classic I, Robot was published in 1950, and just this year a new version has been released. This is a cautionary tale of man vs. machines, and at the end of the book the reader is led to wonder who really won. Done in both first and third person narratives, the story begins with a famous robotic scientist being interviewed right before she is retiring. Through her memories, we learn how the first robots were manufactured, and how they evolved all the way through the year 2059. Fascinating (yet scary) stuff!
