Readers We Love: Part 1

Did you know that June is Audiobook Month? If you've never listened to an audiobook, why not try one today? They're fun for road trips, long commutes, and also for kids who might want to read along. Here are a few of our favorite audiobook readers.

Jim Dale received a big resounding vote for favorite reader from our staff. He's the reader the Harry Potter books, as well as The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern and many other audiobooks.

Neil Gaiman is also a very popular reader. One librarian said, “He could read me the alphabet.”

MacLeod Andrews has read books for both kids and adults.

Scott Brick has won several awards for his narration, and AudioFile magazine has proclaimed him a "Golden Voice."

Susan Ericksen has read all of the J.D. Robb books. She also reads nonfiction books, and books for kids.

Unfortunately, we only one book that Fred Sanders has read, but it's a good one! Two staff members really enjoyed this book, and Fred's narration.

If you like different accents, Caitriona Keyes does a great job with this book.

Simon Vance is a very well known audiobook reader. He's won several awards, and reads fiction, non-fiction, and books for kids.

We really enjoy these audiobook readers, and we think you will, too. Stay tuned for Readers We Love: Part 2 next week!
